The conversation around AI in product management has oscillated between two extremes: breathless enthusiasm about AI replacing product managers entirely, and dismissive scepticism that AI is just a chatbot with good marketing. Neither extreme is helpful. The practical question is not whether AI will replace PMs but which parts of the PM workflow can AI meaningfully improve today.
At PR_D_CT DAY 2025 in Ghent, Pontus Gifvas from Nalvin brought a grounded, practitioner-focused perspective to this question. Rather than presenting a vision of the future, Pontus walked through specific workflows where he and his team are already using AI tools daily, sharing what works, what does not, and where the boundaries of usefulness currently lie.
For product managers who had been experimenting with AI tools in isolation but were unsure how to integrate them into their daily practice, the talk provided a structured framework for adoption that was neither overhyped nor dismissive.
