Collibra is one of Belgium's most prominent tech success stories: a data intelligence company that grew from a university spin-off into a multi-billion-dollar enterprise. Along the way, the product organisation had to evolve through every growing pain imaginable: from founder-led product decisions to a structured product management function with layers, processes, and governance.
At PR_D_CT DAY 2023 in Ghent, Dmytro Protsyk, Staff Product Ops Manager at Collibra, shared the specific issues that product managers encounter as their company transitions through the scale-up and corp-up stages. His perspective was especially valuable because product operations sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and organisational health, giving him visibility into problems that individual PMs often experience but cannot fully diagnose.
